At the Degree Show this year at Manchester School of Art I was presented with two awards! One of which was the honour of being selected to have a personal profile on the MMU Originals website.
“The concept behind the MMU Originals online shop is to promote the talent and skills of our alumni (and thereby the Manchester School of Art) to the outside world – while also giving some added publicity on the MMU website to selected alumni.”
And the page is now live!!
Take a look… (Click the image below)
P.S – I’ll leave the information of my second prize for another blog entry.. (or you could check my previous blog entries if you’re curious)
Back from New Designers in London!
“New Designers is the UK’s most important graduate design exhibition, full of innovation and fresh thinking.
The show sees over 3,000 of the most talented, newly graduated designers from the UK’s leading universities” – New Designers
(I apologise for the terrible image quality, these are borrowed images)
I enjoyed showcasing my work along side designers (and good friends) Catrin Griffiths and Emma Whiston.
We were each showing tableware – jugs, butter dish, plates, bowls, cups, bottles, condiment pots and salt and pepper pots. Tableware heaven!
